Water Feature problem

Water source for the ice maker and dispenser rattles loudly each time its utilized. Sounds cheap. Very disappointed with the product!

It's normal to hear a rattling sound if the icemaker is turned on but water is not supplied to it. We recommend you check the water line for any obstruction and to make sure it's connected properly. You can find instructions on connecting the water line on pages 27-28 of the owner's manual here: https://images.salsify.com/image/upload/s--vM6_heyK--/694045858f1f69cf5562968262dcb6626c13ee1f.pdf. If the issue continues, we recommend scheduling an appointment with our Bodewell Service Team by calling 1-833-426-3393 or online here: https://www.bodewell.com/schedule-repair-service.
My cafe was installed Tuesday. Wednesday it was cooling and making ice. Thursday when I went to start transferring my food into it, it was off. Since this occurred within 48 hours of installation it’s classified as dead on arrival. Repairman can’t come until next week so I’m going through Mother’s Day weekend without a refrigerator. It looks pretty but it’s useless right now.

I’ve owned the fridge for about 3 weeks and it is a solid upgrade.
PROS: It looks great and elevates the look of the kitchen to gourmet. The water/filter quality is top tier and the auto sense fill feature saves time when filling up a glass or a measuring cup. And of course it chills and freezes nicely with features that boost the capability for special circumstances such as installation or recovering from a power outage.
CONS. It’s missing a few “normal folks” features that I’ve enjoyed over the years and that I would expect for the cost. 1. It is massive and takes 4-6 people to deliver it; annotate that during delivery or they won’t send enough people to get it off the truck. Also, installation and haul away aren’t included. Be prepared to pay a few hundred extra. 2. The door isn't magnetized - so it won’t hold a magnet. 3. The interior configuration doesn't inherently work for 12-pack soda storage; so you’ll have to pull them out of the box or sacrifice door space
After paying to install four replacement ice makers after the original one quit last June we still don’t have ice
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's not very deep, so there's not much room as a regular fridge. The doors are squeaking after 4 months, and I am not sure if the warranty will cover this. Also had two plastic pieces come off the interior of the fridge.

The case depth on a "built-in" style refrigerator is very similar to a counter-depth design. This design provides a more custom appearance. The quickest and cleanest way to eliminate the squeaking of a refrigerator door is to lubricate the top and bottom hinges with paraffin wax, petroleum jelly, or mineral oil. Apply the lubricant then work the door back and forth until the sound goes away. If you continue to have an issue, we encourage you to contact our Cafe Appliances service team Bodewell. You may reach them by calling 1-833-426-3393. You may also call our GE Parts & Accessories Store for assistance in identifying the plastic parts you've found. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 48-inch refrigerator appears to be operating exactly as expected, perfectly. This fridge has been in place for just a couple of weeks and we do expect to have many years of use from it. This is no small investment in either purchase or installation, this size appliance is the flagship of the company and is a significant thing to deliver and install, and as a built-in item, the exact dimensions of the exact location must be precise.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brand new refrigerator that came with our home is too warm to keep food from spoiling (maintains around 50 F). We have been waiting for the repair team to fix the issue but it has been 3 months so far without a resolution.
