Minimal and functional

I like the monitor a lot. For reference, I do not game. I am using it as an external monitor to my macbook, and it serves its purpose. It is sharp and fast for documents. I also like to stream my shows onto the external monitor. In a dark room, I don't find the corner of the screens or the colour to be an issue.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Whitewashed colours-Do not buy

Do not buy this monitor if you are looking for nice colours. All colours look very whitewashed. Solid black colour would look a grey colour no matter what the display settings are.
The extra star is for the build quality of the monitor it is sturdy and no cheap plastic, the stand fits nicely.

Not the best picture, but for the price and my purposes it's quite adequate. It's great to have the two HDMI inputs so you can easily switch between computers.

Superb Experience

Starting with online Best Buy ordering with ultra-low price, to fast Canda Post delivery, to the set up with my HP desktop computer so easily and quickly, to improved computer operation - my goodness, my experience could not be improved. And, the giggle is because I paid by Visa, my billing has not come due yet. (lol)

Colours very whitewashed.

It seems to always be over exposed. Lots of white in the screen. It’s cheap. Depends on why you need it. I have it as a secondary monitor for streaming.

As stated on the Dell website, the se2417hgx is a TN display, not IPS.
Also, this is not wall-mountable, as it clearly does not have a VESA mounting pattern on the back
Please fix these blatantly false product titles and descriptions.
