Very overrated refrig

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator and appx. 3 months later we had problems. Due to the virus, we had to wait for it to be repaired. 4 major parts had to be replaced and it is barely 6 months old. Very dissatisfied and concerned how it will run a year from now. There is no way a brand new refrigerator should already have so many problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ice maker needed to be replaced after 4 months

I am not impressed with Whirlpool refrigerator. 4 months old and we had to have a new icemaker installed today. Made ice one time. Told it would take another 24 hours to make more. This is our 4th new home. The Whirlpool Applances came with the house. Not our choice.

Also missing a shelf

I like the fridge, but it showed up with one less shelf than indicated. I have not been able to contact Whirlpool to get a replacement. Chat is always an hour plus wait and the phone always goes immediately to infinite hold. While the hold music is not bad, it is frustrating. Especially since this was a big argument with my husband that I won to get the counter depth fridge. I promised he would still have room for all his pickles and we don't without the additional shelf!

My 1st side by side

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The extra freezer space is great. Downside on both sides, it's narrow. Could not freeze a Costco pot pie in it. I do find ways to fit a lot of food into the fridge. Water/ice feature is great.

Have food freezing problem

Within less than a year we started having food freezing problem. We had technician come in twice and replaced two parts already. Did not make any difference. Still facing the same problem

Missing shelf

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation left much to be desired. Refrigerator not level. Attention to detail by Installation crew was missing. A shelf is missing and a plastic strip? taped inside of fridge with no instructions. Ordered black received slate. Needed a replacement urgently and settled for delivery.

Like the side by side feature!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my refrigerator a couple of months ago. I like how the freezer compartments are organized. I wish the refrigerator side had a little more space.
The freezer door and the refrigerator door does not match up. The refrigerator door is little higher than the freezer door.
I would recommend this to a friend!
