Love being able to control on the whirlpool app

Need Work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the 8.8 cu. ft dryer due to my previous whirlpool dryer's break down. The current dryer has some great features. However, I will never attempt to wash clothes if I am not home. The smart feature may be good for others, but completely unnecessary for me. I don't like the fact that the dryer does not have an opening mechanism. I don't like having to pull to open the door and pushing to close it. There are too many features for drying clothing. I have to keep the manual in the laundry room to ensure that I am using the correct cycle. The cycle end sound is not loud enough. I can barely hear it if my TV is playing. The drum light must continuously press to ensure it is not on. This is very aggravating for me. The lent basket is very cumbersome and just too large. It is hard to open to remove the lent and too large. I like the lent filters that you remove and clear the lint. This dryer's lint filter must be opened to remove the lint. This is not good for me. Also, the cycle for drying towels does not work well. Towels come out wrinkled and not fully dry. The cycle that works best for towels is bulky items/heavy duty I liked my previous Whirlpool dryer better and it did last thirteen years. Hope this helps.

Too many buttons but…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are way too many options for drying, but I do like that I can wirelessly start the dryer while I’m getting ready for work and grab my outfit out of the dryer, wrinkle free, and go to work.
