Musical dryer!

We bought this a month ago when our previous dryer of the same make, just an older dryer, got hit by lightening. I like the lint catcher that is easier to manipulate than before, The dryer does its job well, but it certainly does enjoy playing little snatches of melody for any type of alert. That is a little annoying.

Nice replacement for us

I bought the Duet Dryer 3 weeks ago and have been happy with how well it works. It's nice to be able to trust the dryer will work properly each time I use it and clothes will dry quickly and efficiently.

Disappointed

I was truly disappointed to find out the dryer, which was certainly not the bottom of the line, did not have a drum light. I think Whirlpool has made a big error by leaving off such an inexpensive but utility feature. rands costing much less have this feature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had my new whirlpool front-end loader washing machine and the corresponding dryer for over 2 months. I am overall satisfied with their performance. I am really happy that the washer uses about one third of the water my old top loading machine used too, and does a better job at getting those pesky spots off. Both machines are not too noisy; my only negative thought is their size.In a time when computers are becoming smaller and smaller, it seems, not only whirlpool but all brands of washers and dryers, are becoming bigger and bigger. I just wonder why as the cubic volumes of the drums are the same as old models.
