Great washer!

I bought this set a month ago to replace a top loader. I have a family of 8 and do a lot of laundry. This washer (and dryer) have significantly cut my laundry time down. Love them!

Great Performance

Our Duet dryer has performed beautifully--from delicates to bath towels. Every load is dried just right--not over dried or wrinkled. Clothes are ready to be folded and put away or touched up with a light iron. Need a new dryer-- definitely purchase a Duet dryer.

Musical & Knotty

The buttons are musical sounding and a bit loud, I wish the sound could be muted. The dryer works good except when drying sheets, blankets, or anything of a larger size, it just balls them up real tight and only dries the outside, I have to take the item out and unroll it several times before it dries. Nice and roomy inside, love the ecoboost mode that is saving me money on my energy bill. I had to stack the washer and dryer ....do not buy the base if you are stacking the unit, it makes it way to tall. We couldn't reach the dryer knobs, had to disassemble the unit and return the base.

The New Dryer

It is a bit too early to tell about the new dryer. So far, so good. But it has some big shoes to fill. It is replacing a machine that we bought in 1985 and never had a problem with in these last 29 years. If it hadn't been for the flood on August 11, 2014 that put it under water, we would still be using the old machine.We're very happy with the new washer, and recommend Whirlpool to all of our friends. Looking forward to another 29 years!

I truly appreciate the options/settings on my dryer. It's big enough to dry my quilt or my husbands work clothes. The efficiency makes me feel better about my contributions to the environment.
