missing the older model

I had to replace my gas version of this dryer with a recent move. I prefer the controls of the older model. The dryer is fine in operation but the electronic beeping alert is incredibly annoying. Just turning onthe unit I have to live through a silly electronic tune. I don't care to have an obnoxious alert go off when the cycle is complete. The older version allowed to silence this alert - the new one does not allow for that. There is no running the dryer just before bedtime because this will wake you up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it a month ago & have no complaints. Unlike my last dryer my clothes come out dry in only one cycle. We bought the washer dryer set & stacked them. Best idea ever! Both run so quietly you for get you turned them on.

Fast Drying

Bought this to replace a 10 year old LG. This one dries much faster and does a much better job of getting all items in "mixed load" dry.

My family and I LOVE this dryer! It is easy to use and energy efficient. It is also pretty quiet! We've only had this dryer for a few months, but we already love it.

Great dryer. It has a moderate noise level. Dries clothes great so far. Has some great features and gets the job done. It even has a dryer vent warning if the vent is full. I would recommend this dryer.
