I bought this about a month ago to replace my LG combo washer and dryer.. That appliance's drain pump went out twice in less than 5 years and the dryer part of the unit took forever to dry the clothes. Now it's dry in 30 minutes vs 3 hrs., and I don't have to run it twice. Couldn't be more pleased.

Just purchased to match the new front load washer by Whirlpool. So far is does everything it claims to do, however haven't tried all of its functions and features yet.

Great Dryer

I purchased this for a busy salon and we use the dryer for towels we go through. This dryer is quiet and dries the towels quickly and efficiently.

Second time around

The high-efficiency and low-water-use features were important to my choice of this washer. The spin cycle at the end of the wash cycle is very strong, leaving the clothes holding less water than other washers. Having the clothes spun so well shortens the time in the dryer, thus saving electricity. This is the second time I have purchased the Duet washer. Loved the first one, so when we moved to a new house, leaving the appliances for the new occupants of that house, we bought exactly the same thing again for the new house. The front loading is important to me, so we have the washer on a pedestal. I recommend the pedestal.
