I tried 3 different NEW Kenmore machines in less than 2 months and they all were terrible! It was recommended to try the Whirlpool Washer and Dryer per a family members review of service from their home. I tried both and loved the washer and dryer right away! Much better unit and more dependable! Only negative is both the units "sing" a tune when turning on and off or when done with the job. Not good when the family is sleeping and it is singing a tune waking everyone up. Other than that, its AWESOME!

Purchased this dryer after my older dryer stopped working. It's quiet, fast, and efficient with drying clothes. Great purchase at a reasonable price.

Excellent dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this dryer in my vacation home which is occupied year-round by a grandchild and her children for a year now and it's going strong. It's quiet and does an excellent job of uniformly drying my clothing and bedding. It took a little time to adjust to the relocation of the grip for opening the door, but that's a negligible difference from my other Whirlpool in my own home. I've been very happy with all my Whirlpool products and heartily recommend them.

I bought this as my Valentine present ... I know, crazy. Well, it's been wonderful. My family thinks I'm crazy because I don't mind doing the laundry now. I'm 4' 11" so with the older model I had, I would almost fall into the washer trying to get clothes out. Now I just throw them from one machine into the other. The washer and dryer are very easy to operate. Being front loaders also gives me more "countertop" space in order to fold the laundry.
