Excellent Product for Humans, Too!

My husband and I use these awesome necklaces when we go walking around our neighborhood, attending festivals or public events, hiking, etc. My husband and I use different color settings so we can be identified by our color by others. This is hands down one of our favorite Nite Ize products. Yes, we use them on our four dogs, as well. Great product for children to wear, too! Our necklaces hold their charge with no problem. We have had them for over a year and they are still as bright as when they were new. Plus, Nite Ize customer service is the best! Highly recommend this product!

Love this necklace!

I bought this necklace over a year ago and my dog still gets compliments all the time on walks. On top of the changing colors I love that this necklace is also rechargeable. We have not had any problems with this at all!

Great for early mornings!

We bought this last fall to use with our new, lab pup, as my wife walks him early around 5am. We first tried to just put it over his head, but as a pup he wasn't having it and would try to either shake it off or eat it. As he got bigger, we bought a harness which we really like and wove the light through it. With the reflective trim on the harness, this makes for a highly visible combo. As you can see from the photos, we cut the light "tube" which is actually solid material and secured it with elastic bands. This has since been upgraded with some velcro. This will allow us the option of opening or closing the light as needed to either adjust it or charge it. Once the dog stops growing, we can better cut it to fit.
Overall, it's been a great light and we usually get at least a week or more on a charge with about 30 to 45 minutes of walking each morning. We've had it through the winter and it's gotten very wet, also with no problems.

The rainbow LED collar has worked very well so far (about 3/4 weeks). I'll update if any concerns arise. I did cut the length of the collar to fit over his head/ears for easy put-on and removal but not so loose that it falls off easily. This prevents the collars connection point from stretching-out over time as they tend to do. I was a little put-off that a recharge cable wasn't included with the collar but found that the cable from an older Samsung (Galaxy s4) phone works perfectly and charges the collar from a USB port on the computer. It's great how the colors change and move around the collar.

This is a great collar for my black dogs out in the yard at night! I'd had a non rechargeable model and the batteries lasted a long time but were expensive. So I tried these. I love the different color options so I know what running blur is what dog. I do wish it had some way to determine the battery level. I hate to recharge it too often, so I'm afraid it will just run out of juice when my dogs are outside. A battery level indicator would make it 5 stars for me (I wish I could do 4 1/2...!)

Died unexpectedly

Had it less than a year and it worked great, brighter than the replaceable battery version and the RGB color change also helped to increase visibility. But one day all on it's own it turned on, would not turn off, and it will now not turn back or or recharge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great but it comes off

I bought this collar for my black rescue so I can see her in the woods in at dusk. She’s part hound so she races all through the undergrowth and the collar comes off. I’ve been able to define it each time this has happened. I’d like to I install something that keeps the collar from pulling off. Perhaps drill holes through the ends unit and the plastic tubing and then secure the collar with a carabiner. Any ideas?
