I got these to put on my sons bike! It’s extremely important to me that if we happen to be out riding and it starts to get dark that he is easily visible. These surely do a great job! I’ve had them for a year now, they hold up great! They’ve been in rain, snow, mud, you name it! And the fact that they are rechargeable is just the cherry on top! Quality product, I would definitely purchase again!

This thing is great and really bright and fun for dark winter and night riding. It's kind of hard to push the button to turn it on and off, and also kind of a pain to get it on and off the spokes for recharging. But it seems sturdy and does its job. We had the similar one with batteries, and used it often enough that we got the rechargeable kind. This one is a bit easier to use than that one, and you don't have to keep buying the little disc batteries for it, which can be dangerous with little kids around.

I bought one last year and the battery recently stopped recharging. I contacted customer support and I had a new light ready to use within 5 days! The light is easy to install and remove and is very bright, a great help being visible at night.

Bright light, but major usability problems.

Riding with these for 3 months. Very bright, much brighter than the non-rechargeable mode - Kudos for that.
The cons/flaws affect usability: - no warning of low battery - the light just shuts down - the lights must be completely removed from the bike for recharging (unless your bike is parked next to an outlet/charger), a somewhat dirty and tedious process. - the lights always start with a red color, and if one prefers another setting, one must cycle through the options each time the lights are powered up.
The no low-battery warning and always starting in red seem odd, given that most other bike lights have had those features now for years.
They really should make a 2.0 version with a removable cartridge for charging. That would be a HUGE improvement.

You need these for night riding. I have a bike and a trike, and I have one on every wheel to keep from being run over by cars that run stop signs because they don't see any cars coming. I don't care how many head or tail lights you have, if you are making a turn in an intersection, you are INVISIBLE to a car coming from the left or right. I look like a Christmas tree now, but the near misses are a thing of the past. I also wear a flashing strobe light on my helmet so I can shine it directly in the eyes of a menacing driver. It is so effective that if I raise my head up and aim it at a car with high beams on, they will dim their lights every time. I look at drivers at intersections to make sure I can exercise my right to be in traffic with them.
