The collar is a must-have. It's great to have a leash at all times. Very convenient. My last one got messed up with sand after a year at the beach, so I take the new colar off of my dog before taking her to the beach

Great features!!!

I bought this a month ago and my dog Vinny loves it! I keep it in my car so I can quickly put it on him when I want to take him out for a quick adventure. I do wish the rope for the leash was a little tougher (It has not broke) but Vinny tries to bite on the leash when I have to pull it out, I just get worried. Besides that, we love this all-in-one collar & leash!

Unbelievable, walking made simple!

I own 3 dogs a black Goldendoodle, Lily, Tan Labordoodle, Hippy, and my mixer, Ivy. They are my Black and Tan with a Mixer. I hike alot as well as backpack and it is so nice to not have to carry three retractable leashes or leashes period. Nice to let them walk and be free but to have the ability to quickly get ahold of them is great and with no fumbling around with everything. All of my dogs are pushing 65-70 lbs althought the leash looks thin I've had zero problems, just don't wrap the thin cord around your hand, it hurts when they pull if they do. So I recommend this product to anyone and everyone, once you use it you won't go back, I personally haven't.

This is a quality collar with a 3 ft extend-a-leash. Great for when you are on the trails and need to get a quick handle on your dog without crouching or bending. I would give it 5 stars if the leash was 12 inches longer and the loop handle large enough for a gloved hand - both things customers have suggested for over a year. Still, nothing else like it - glad we made the purchase.

I have the best off-leash dog in the world. She is non-reactive to other dogs and always stays with me on hikes. She is a lab so loves to jump into creeks. I bought a RadDog collar when she was younger and she outgrew it and at the time it was the largest size they had so that was really disappointing. I used other types of similar idea collars but they all failed after a while (maybe because of swimming in the collar). Eventually I looked and was delighted to see a larger version and bought it so I'm thrilled to have my Luna wearing her RadDog collar again. It makes it so easy to grab her leash when we are passing other people and dogs on a hike - not because she will do anything but they don't know that - really just to be polite. And for areas where a leash is required, it at least looks like she is on leash ;)

So convenient! We have seen these for years and finally purchased one for our PWD. We walk daily in the woods and the RadDog makes walking much easier when we come upon other walkers. I hope they eventually make other colors.
