Poor height adjustment with shelfing

Freezer has lots of room but no light. shelf’s poor design make butter dish compartment deeper, very bottom shelf on door worthless

Worst design ever

This is the worst refrigerator design I've ever seen. We love this old fashioned style of freezer on top, but have never seen one without a light in the freezer (we WERE aware of this before purchasing it, but found it odd). The big issue is the refrigerator design. I suppose they intended the user to put a lot of items on the door for easy access, because they had to compensate for the shelves taking up space in the refrigerator space by starting the shelves SO FAR BACK that you nearly have to sit down on a chair to get anything out! Literally, you have to bend over, then tuck yourself into the refrigerator and reach. This would not be an issue if you are under 4 feet. Now, let's talk about the door. There is a shelf at the very bottom of the door. What the purpose of this shelf is, is a mystery. Its teeny tiny and once again, tucked so far under the shelf above it, its impossible to get anything out of without standing on your head. So you begin to load up the other door shelves with condiments and even items like milk and OJ and tall bottles, because they give you room to do so. Well, then your refrigerator door won't close without a HUGE SLAM. We've made adjustments and more adjustments and it still swings wide open with all the weight on it, and when you go to close it, you can't unless you give it a real good heave, rattling everything on the door to kingdom come.
The hinges are ugly silver metal. They didn't even attempt to make them nice.
The light is so dim it barely lights the inside of the refrigerator.
I'm a 66 year old woman and in all my years of refrigerating, I've never seen such a horrible design. My mistake for purchasing online.

Attractive color & easy to clean

It has plenty of room for the two of us. It fits under our cabinets, which was important, so we didn’t have to redo our kitchen. I would’ve given it 5 stars, but it seems to run a lot and it’s noisy when it runs. Our old fridge died and this GE was the only one in town, without having to wait a month to order one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Other than the fact that it is quite loud while running and the interior light is not strong enough it is fine! Getting use to the areas I feel need work and actually did call about the interior light and was told the the LED light would get brighter as the time the door was open became longer. That is true but I do not keep the door open for long periods of time!

Nice fridge, came dented

When uncrated there were minor dents in three places. Since this is a garage fridge not a big deal. But be sure you inspect yours and call it in if you don’t want the dents.

Top freezer a hit!

Replaced my old side-by-side with this top freezer. Took a minute to figure out where to put everything. Quite spacious. Stays plenty cold. Made the right decision.
