Not up to GE quality

Bought this model at the height of the pandemic as our old Kenmore finally bit the dust. Needed the specific size to fit a space. Disappointed in the
lack of flexibility in shelf placement, door shelf not wide enough to hold two gallon containers of milk, and the ice maker is a joke. Even after a year of use the ice still has a plastic taste. The poor design of the automatic stopper results in it getting frozen in place - surprise, it never turns off the ice maker thus flowing over into the freezer compartment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not what expected

We have the temperature set at coldest setting. However, ice cream doesn’t freeze well. Also, I have a hard time organizing food in the refrigerator. The shelves don’t seem to space best for us. We try to eat a lot of fresh produce. I think I’ll get baskets to try to organize it.

Ok fridge with couple faults.

Ok fridge with couple faults. Long piece of temper glass shelf doesn't have a way to support.much weight in center, so I have to put heavier weight to sides. And freezer doesnt seem to get cold enough. Ice cream is bit soft.

If your ice cream is too soft, you may need to experiment to determine the best location and temperature control setting to keep your ice cream at the right serving temperature. The coldest location is typically at the rear of the freezer. Fine quality ice cream with high cream content will normally require slightly lower temperatures than more "airy" packaged brands with low cream content.

Loud and small but love the color

We went with this model strictly because we wanted biscuit color, that we Love!!! Thats is the ONLY thing we love!!! This thing is small, loud and expensive!!!

These are initial impressions after 1 week.
1) The shelves have limited configurations; There are NO split shelves - this means they are full width and you cannot have half-width shelves at different heights. The height options are limited. The top shelf is a little too high, which limits what can go there and makes you bend low to see what's stored there. The next shelf location is too low, which would eat up the middle shelf space. Lastly, the full-width shelves have no center support. If heavy things are put on the middle shelf, I worry about it bending/flexing.
2) It has a simple one-knob temperature setting for both freezer and refrigerator. This kinda sucks, as one may be too warm while the other too cold.
3) the door shelves are similarly limited in configurations.
4) The slate color is much nicer than I expected and does not show fingerprints. It is magnetic. The handle is not fingerprint resistant - no matter what you may have read. It does clean easier than expected though.
5) All drawers are nicely sized. The middle drawer slides left-right allowing personalizing position
6) the fan/blower is a bit louder than my last GE refrigerator. I would not say it is loud or intrusive. For most people, I think this is fine. I am very sensitive to all repetitive noises and wish it were a bit quieter.

Unpleased with Desgin

My mistake for buying unseen. The depth of the top two shelves is too short for our taste. The shelves do no stick out as far as the lower two drawers which makes us have to constantly move stuff around and stack things on top of each other. The top freezer is very spacious. We were in a hurry for a refrigerator and didn't research. It also makes quite a bit of background noise.
