larger freezer and well designed door organizer

Love the larger freezer section and convenient fridge door organizer. The fridge arrived near noon during a four day heat wave and no air conditioning. The unit quickly reached freezing and refrigeration temperatures under the extreme conditions.

Ultra Quiet Fridge

This is my third GE refrigerator and it lives up to the GE name. It's extremely quiet, temps cooled quickly after plugging in.
A little disappointed there's no light in the freezer (my former models had a light in the freezer), so that for me is the only down point. Why would they not include one? LEDs don't work in colder temps?
Otherwise, I feel it's been a good buy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not the 'fridge I wanted but the only one around for quickest delivery. Still went 3 full weeks without and the ones I was looking for had that no guarantees on delivery ... up to ever! So, I got this one and have been pleasantly surprised. Minor things: no light and no separate temp control for freezer, and full shelves in the 'fridge. I like being able to split up a shelf here and there now and then. However, I am very happy with this refrigerator/

Noisy

I've owned several GE refrigerators. This one is the noisiest I've ever owned in my life. Dealer has been back twice to try to fix the noise with no luck. They've replaced the part each time, But no significant improvement. Can hear the frig cooling 30 ft and two rooms away. Said the fault is in the design of the cooling compartment. Can hear the rotating fan when it runs, sounds like a small machine gun.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good fit for the space I had

Keeps the food nice and cold. The door has to really be pushed hard to close it. The guys who delivered it said there wasn't any way to adjust the pitch of the appliance so the door would gently close on its own.
