Loving my new refrigerator

I received my new refrigerator through a company called Eco Works and they help people who are poor and live up under the poverty line. I need essential situations like new furnaces, new windows, new water, heaters and chimney liners and new refrigerators and the like, my new refrigerator is wonderful and I’m so happy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Takes some getting used to

We didn’t realize the freezer on top is a little bigger than our old refrigerator. So the refrigerator compartment is a little lower than we are used to. We are not tall but we’re not super short either so we have to get used to stooping a little bit to put stuff in the fridge. If we have to retrieve or put some thing deeper in the fridge, we might have to do it a little blindly because we have to turn our head. Otherwise, I do like the additional space compared to our old appliance, and the door compartments are a little roomier with barriers that don’t allow smaller packages to slip through.

GE brand is good

We downsized a bit on replacing our old frig. Had a Kenmore which was made by LG and always had problems with it. Went back to GE. This frig however is very short and we have to get on our hands and knees to retrieve any items on the bottom shelf. It is Energy Star though. It regulates the temp great and has wire shelves which helps keep the air flow.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It’s a nice refrigerator but was used to a bottom freezer. Also, found it strange that there is no light in the freezer.

inferior use of space

this refrigerator does not use it's space well at all. The spacing is off on most of the shelves and on the side door for normal groceries. The shelves in the box are not far enough apart to accommodate a normal Costco gallon of lemonade, unless you only have one shelf in the body. The shelf above has to be off its track so not stable. The lower shelf on the door is not usable for a 16 oz bottle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
