I have had refrigerator for one month, and am happy so far. Quiet, compared to previous GE Refrigerator which only lasted 6 years. Freezer has more space which makes me happy for cooking large quantities, dividing and freezing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

When the motor is running inside the freezer, the plastic cover rattles.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Temperature and quiet operation seem to work well. It is a good size for the two of us. Base model with wire shelves, but lacks an extra small drawer for small items. Looks nice in black.

This fridge is ten times noisier than our 20 year old fridge that we replaced. It had glass shelves and a light in the freezer. Feel like this fridge is a giant step backward.

Great basic refrigerator. Excellent capacity for overall size. Reversible door very important option for me. I live in a two bedroom condominium. Because of the kitchen's set-up and space limitations, there is no space for a French Door model. I needed a refrigerator with doors that could be reversed and set-up to swing open to the left for me. That way, the freezer and refrigerator doors would open towards the inside of the kitchen. Based on my needs and brand reliability history, GE was the best choice for me
