Small set but excellent brick selection

This is fun little set. I feel like it could have been a little bigger for the price but it does contain some nice bricks and would go well with the Mos Eisley Cantina set along with Luke’s Landspeeder. Like everyone has mentioned, the hologram Leia is a great addition and for being such a small set it has a good amount of play value. It could have included a door for the front to cover up the chest that contains Luke’s lightsaber but that isn’t a big deal. If you remove the chest and set it to the side then it looks like a doorway at least. I do enjoy the compact design, I just wish it was slightly bigger to include a few more details inside.

Good set but could have been better

The minifigs are exactly what you would expect which is fine. Wouldn't have minded a cape for Obi Wan, and its log overdue for us to start getting R2D2 figures with all around printing and his middle wheel/leg. The "Trouble on Tat" set gave us a UCS level figure with the Beskar Mando. A proper R2 could have done that with this set but I digress. The hut itself is OK with some nice details but its not only a bit too small, but has no bed. Even ships are coming with sleeping quarters and other little huts like this had them. There is way too much emphasis on the box that stores Anakin's light saber; it takes up the entire entrance way and a large amount of space inside plus the entryway has no door anyway. The set needed to be a couple dots wider in both directions, have a bed, a better R2 and a cape for Obi Wan and the playability and collectibility would have been drastically improved for very little additonal cost. As it is now, the set is OK especially as a background set in a larger Tat display, and maybe even somewhat massable for example if you wanted to build your own Mos Pelgo a few of these would kind of work with minor mods to each. As stated, the figures are OK with the prize being another massable Tusken, but 99% of anyone who gets this set likely already has a Luke Ben and R2...none of which are collectable in any way.

I liked everything about this LEGO. R2 included! I like how you can set different scenes in the hut. I wish the set included more tan pieces to make a desert-y sand bottom and a Bantha for the Tusken Raider to ride on. (This review is direct from our 6 yr old son).

Moving pieces were a nice addition to allow the hut to open and close. Hinged dome top opens for easier play access. The hologram Leia was a nice touch. Same for the blue milk. My son liked the cooking flame and kitchen area in general. Nice detail.
