My 2nd Favorite Speed Champions Build

Great value and a fun build overall. The final product looks great as well, the scale does better here than the one seater Speed Champions builds.
The only build and final product I've liked more in the Speed Champions line is the Audi Quattro (the boxy of LEGO lends itself better in the end to the rally car) but this F8 Tributo build is fantastic. Interesting build methods and the final product looks smooth and great on display. I would recommend this build to anyone looking at Speed Champions

Wrong piece but good set

I bought this set today and was excited to build it. A little ways through I realized that one of the pieces was missing. I realized it was there but the front was brown instead of black. I did some research and found out I really did have the wrong piece! This is supposedly a rare occurrence which has never before happened to me. It is a slight difference and I’ll probably just have to go with it. I finished the set and it looks very nice. If you like the Speed Champions then I do recommend this set to you. It’s new and bigger than the ones before it. Also I’m not sure what number piece the brown one is so I’ll have to look into it.Thank you for reading this review.

Thanks for your review. Looks like that piece isn't wrong - just one that had a little trouble during the manufacturing process. Head over to LEGO.build/BricksPieces to request a replacement.

Could Be Better, Could Be Worse

When you first look at this set, it may look pretty good. When you see it up close, you see that it could be better. Extra points for the side mirrors and the front grille! Both look really good for a Speed Champions set. The side vents for the engine are also nice. However, the hood seems lumpy and the back, especially the top, seems square compared to the real car. Ant there are 4 studs on the back interior wall of the cabin serving no purpose at all that could easily be removed or covered up.
If you are looking for a Speed Champions Ferrari or an 8-stud wide Speed Champions car, you may or may not like this set. If you care deeply about realisticness, this is not the set for you.

Bet you can BUY just one!

I have purchased to date 10 sets of this model. This model is not only one of the most beautiful in the entire 2019-2021 line up, but the quantity and shape of pieces allows the imagination to reshape it into many true form supercars from past and present! I will not even try to list all the designs that i have made plus all the designs that i have found online. The Ferrari Tributo may well be a speed champion, but this building set is the champion of champions

Oh the magnificent hair!

If I were reviewing this solely on Alessandro's hair it would be a 6 stars out of 5. It truly pains me that I have to knock one star off though for reasons I will explain down below...
It's because Alessandro's hair is so amazing the top of the car can't close when he's sitting in it with his magnificent hair on (see attached picture)!!!
Fun build overall though!

This thing looks good, it’s solid, and not too hard to build. It also actually looks like the real one. It’s also packed full of details. I just wish that it came with a co driver. Also I think having interchangeable spoilers would be cool.

Step 14

When building this set I struggled on step 14. You have to put a specific piece in that does not fit correctly. A piece of the set blocks the specific piece from sticking in due to the pieces being the same height. I have checked multiple times and found no error at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do you mean the two black pieces added in step 14? If so, it sounds like something's just a bit off in assembly added in step 11. You'll want to pay close attention to step 10 - make sure that the gray and blue bits are in the right order, and that the red and black assembly is added at the right height.

Amazing Details

I really like this set. It has great detail based on the real car. I also really like that you can fit two LEGO people in the car compared to the older sets of only one. It is also bigger which is really nice as well.
