Just received my T495s. It was a month late. Luckily, I wasn't in a hurry.... This is my second day using my Lenovo, and it has frozen up on my twice. I have looked online for a solution and there's a lot of possible choices... At this point I haven't decided if I am a fan yet, but I am trying to keep an open mind.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The PC has been a nice update from the older XPS13 it replaced. It has been reliable and fast so far. We are mostly using it for light office productivity apps and one online game (Zwift). Battery life has been pretty good.
The only knock I have is there had been a pop-up under one login about some out of date Ati software (video) or drivers. Looked into it a bit when we received it, but had not affected performance and haven't invested much time in resolving

However, right side tends to heat up, fan can be noisy, and battery life is very far from 14 hours. I probably get 5-6 hours out of one charge, despite only using Excel, reading PDFs and checking mails.
