But the only thing is, it turns to be very hot in a short time no matter what I did. I have a T470s and it doesn’t have this problem for three years. But overall it’s very good.

Everything is great so far. The only drawback is the display brightness it comes with, only 200 nits it's very low, just a little bit of direct light into the screen and you won't see a thing. I know this is a feature that can bee customized for a brighter display in some countries, but here in Chile there isn't that choice.

It's thinner, lighter and a bit smaller in overall size the the T4030u but has the same 14" screen. I would recommend the T495s for anyone who need portability in a notebook computer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lenovo ROCKS!! I'm an intermediate, somewhat informed computer user with a dyslexia handicap. I have tried other computer brands in the past such as Dell, HP and Mac to help minimize my learning disorder(for reading, writing, spelling, etc).
I reached out to Lenova since computers are their only focus and spoke with a super knowledgable tech rep about my concerns. What developed was a genuine concern and
support for my wants, needs and desires. Not just to make a sale or fill a quota, but to satisfy
the customer. After spending over 2hrs. on the cellphone and reviewing a half dozen varieties
of options, we agreed on the ThinkPad T495s for my needs.
The end result has been amazing. My ThinkPad is thinking for me with ease of use and it's faster all around than any of my previous models in processing performance and overall usability. I've even gotten praise at work for my increase in efficiency and accuracy..
