It looks and feels really premium, the display is crisp and clean, the keyboard is probably the best on any notebook I've used in years. Plenty of power with the Ryzen 7 PRO 3700U processor and it stays really quiet in regular use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our fourth Thinkpad. They are always solidly built, and they keyboard is fantastic. I have an X1 Carbon for work, which I love, but I couldn’t justify the cost of another X1 for a home laptop that is mostly for light duty. The T495s is perfect because you get a system that is almost as light and almost as fast, and still has that rock solid build and awesome keyboard, for significantly less money.
