Close Shave, Loud, but still have razor bumps

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this as a free trial to review the product. At first the box didn't look very appealing as a consumer. I didn't expect much from the cover of the box but needed to give it a shot anyway. The packaging inside the box was very simple: Styrofoam with the razor, cap, brush, ac adapter, and manual. I guess I expected something fancy since you're purchasing an electric razor.
However when using it as a dry shave and shaving the same spot 2 to 3 times, the shave was pretty good. There are some stubble and razor bumps, but the shave is pretty decent. The bumps may be better when shaven wet I believe. However, the shave was not as smooth as compared to the Panasonic Arc series. I would definitely recommend those over these. These are quite loud and solid, but it still gives me a sense that it's cheap.

Best lectric dry shaver I ever had

Bought the 3040s a year ago. Best smooth and fast shave I ever had. I can't say this about a replacement head 32S, which I had to return. The shave with this new part was rough, almost painful. Expect from Braun recommendation for another head and where to buy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great electric shaver!

I've had problems in the past with electric shavers giving my neck razor burn but haven't had any since receiving my free Braun Series 3. The trimmer on the back side is great as well to get through the longer stuff before going to a close shave. Thumbs up from me here!

Summary of my experience after two months of use

Well I've used this machine for two months now and still the same quality at first use but there are some notes to take into account :
1. When shaving dry, your skin must be really dry. If the weather is hot and your skin is darker, it is better to use shaving foam. The results will definitely be better.
2.If you are always shaving their beard, do not let it go too long. The shaving will be a little stressful. In this case, however, you can use the hair trimmer head on the back of the machine to shorten the hair before shave it. The blades are touching the skin and not vertical.
3. Use light oil to lubricate the machine from time to time will maintain its performance
4. Do not use the cleaning brush to clean the razor head (it will damage the razor head) but put it under the running water. Put the head up so that the hair comes out easily. If you are flying a dry shave,

Supreme Shaver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first time ever using an electric shaver. I found it to be spectacular. It gives you a very close shave, and also features a trimmer, which comes in handy for sideburns, mustache and beard trimming. When I use it, I prefer to shave my face completely. It is very comfortable on the skin. I have a sensitive face, and this Braun shaver leaves me completely comfortable. From here on out, this will be my only tool fit shaving my face. Goodbye to standard razors. I highly recommend this product.

Greatest shaver ever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor is the best on the market. Its close shave surpasses all other razors. The battery life is amazing as well. A mere forty five minute charge gives this beauty three days if power. It is hands down amazing.

Smooth and clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now that i have been using the Braun Series 3-3040 for a few weeks I would like to say what a a great shave it gives over and over the consistency with it is a welcome change for other brands i have tried in the past after over 15 shaves i have to say that the blades are as sharp as they were when i opened the box Braun is always a brand that you can count on for long term use the charge in the shaver stays for along time and charges fast if its low the way it fits in your had makes getting into the hard to reach places easier i wish i could give the Braun Series 3-3040 a 10 star review i have been telling all the guys i know to go and get on thanks to bzzagent and Braun for letting me get to try this amazing shaver for free its one that i will have for a long time to come

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was searching for an electric razor like this for an extremely long time. I am happy to say that I have finally found the perfect one!! This razor performs perfectly and gets the job done the exact way I want it. It is extremely easy to use, looks great and does an amazing job. I have gotten compliments almost immediately after I started using this that my beard looks great. Braun really outdid themselves this time. I would recommend this razor to anyone and everyone!
