Close shave, super quiet, very comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used a braun shaver for about a decade and really liked it. It was noisy but gave a close shave and the auto clean was great.
This razor is vastly better. The shave is awesome. Close and comfortable with no pulling. The thing is awesomely quiet too. The edges have a little extra plastic vs the old model so it takes a little maneuvering to get close to the ears but it's easy to do. Highly recommended. The auto clean is still great.

Handles difficult shaves with ease

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gave the shaver a difficult first test - a weeks growth. This isn't what it is designed to handle and did take many passes, but it took care of it without snagging any hairs. Subsequent shaves after that we're very smooth. The charge lasts a long time and recharges quickly. The battery indicator is a little confusing since there isn't any marking on the body. The shaver seems to be a good deal for a very functioning razor. My only issue is the instruction book sent with the razor appeared to be the one for beards which was very confusing.

Very good shaver!

I have used other shavers in the past and this was far better than those. I had never heard of this shaver and have searched for info online, but have found nothing. I would recommend this shaver and purchase it again.

Love the automated cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a very busy man that has to wake up early and head to work with a clean shaven face. This whole unit makes my morning routine a bit shorter. I like how I can set it to clean and sanitize on it's stand so I won't have to worry about it later. It can sometimes skip over areas but it's not that big of a deal as long as you catch it before you head out the door.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Braun Series 6 shaver is a great electric shaver. It seems to be a sweet spot in value and performance between the Series 5 and the Series 7. It is a high quality shaver that can be used dry or wet. The shaver comes with an attractive travel case and countertop charging station. I use it on dry skin several times per week. I have pretty sensitive skin and have struggled over the years to find a good shave. This shaver delivers a close shave with minimal skin irritation by the well designed shaver head that rotates in all directions to keep contact with your skin. I use a good after shave healer and really like the results. I have only cleaned the unit once and found this process very easy. Review will be updated with experience on using the shaver wet and after additional cleanings.

Great dry shave but not the best wet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to get to try out a new shaver since my Braun S3 is getting old and dull. The Braun Shaver 6072cc System Blue US looks really cool and I love the self cleaning stand. This was a nice upgrade from my old shaver.
The Braun 6072cc does not work better than my other razor when wet but as a dry shave, it works just as well, if not a little better. When I used it the first time on dry skin, it worked really well. When I used it with wet hair, my hair was longer so that may have been a factor.
Overall, I'm not sure I would have bought the 6072cc but I definitely would have considered it. I trust Braun shavers so I know in the end I will enjoy this one. I would recommend this shaver to friends as something they should consider.

My New Best Friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love that I can wet or dry shave with this razor. I prefer to wet shave usually, but being able to dry shave as well means this can be charged and travel with me if I need it to. The razor itself feels good in the hand - it has a nice weight and balance. I also get a great close shave with no irritation, which is a big plus as I have sensitive skin. The SmartCare Center seems to do a great job of cleaning the razor head, particularly after a wet shave. I also checked online and was pleasantly surprised by the cost of the refill cartidges. I can see this shave staying with me for a long time!
