Disappointing: repeatedly received damaged product

I have multiple LG appliances and used to be extremely happy with them: great design, highly reliable. However, my experience with this range hood has been beyond disappointing. It arrived massively damaged (see photos), and a replacement arrived with almost identical damage. The shipping box appeared to be in good condition. The reviews of similar LG range hoods indicate that this is a widespread issue. I am afraid that this is an LG quality problem. It may be time to consider other brands.

3 times damaged

I have bought this range hood 3 different times with all arriving damaged. I have completed a complete home remodel and installed all Black stainless LG appliances. So it is frustrating and still need to order yet another. I see that the site states they are not available in my zip code. SMH

Nice low-profile vent hood

This vent hood matches my LG range and refrigerator perfectly. While I don't use the app much, it works well when I've tried it out. Overall, I am happy with the design and performance.
I purchased all LG appliances for my new home and now have to redo my kitchen cabinets because they only have range hoods that fit 9.5' ceilings. Seems ridiculous to me that all of their competitors offer extensions and LG can only sell to customers with 9.5' ceilings. That eliminates their wealthiest demographic. Very upset and dissatisfied.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
