Nice bag!

Very well-thought bag for organization, access and look. Comfortable to wear. I like it! Where it can improve, is the access to the laptop/tablet compartment that is difficult especially when the bag is full. While it will hold a tablet too, if the tablet has a case it makes it hard to fit.
I researched bags for a good long while before ending up with this as an every day bag for a few years now. It's light, it's a good size for a day trip, it's very durable material, the zippers are well-sealed and heavy duty. It's super easy to organize things into 3 compartments. I can fit a laptop, aps-c camera, 3 lenses, snacks, 2 water bottles, and a extra clothes. I sometimes wish it were a bit bigger for day hikes, and a bit smaller for going to a coffee shop, but it strikes a good balance for both. Also it's expensive but if you use it literally every day absolutely worth it.
The biggest downside for me is the height of the side pockets, only will really hold a small waterbottle, anything larger is prone to falling out if you lean too far forward or to the side. If you want to be sure, you can use the built-in strap to secure it, but it's an annoying extra step. There's plenty of room I don't see why they couldn't just be deeper.
Another issue, which may just be mine, is that if you bring the zippers close together it leaves a little pinky-sized gap. It's not great if it's raining and the gap is on the top, but it's barely noticeable if the gap is on the side.
I got this for my birthday and as someone who has 2 very different jobs, it’s the perfect daily office backpack and turns into my camera pack for shoots. Not to mention makes travel that much easier. No more tsa going through all my stuff
Bought the 20L backpack, and found that over the course of use of 1,5 years, the bag still holds up well after a handful of trips. The only thing that I feel could be improved on are the external anti-theft zipper pulls - the rubber material disintegrates after frequent use (could be my sweaty hands), and that eventually means that the zipper pull itself gets disintegrated.
I purchased the bag in Bone. It’s such a beautiful bag that is extremely functional. I needed something for travel and to hold my camera gear. My husband has the first version and recommended Peak Design for my needs. He was amazed by the beauty and can’t take his eyes off of it!
I was positively surprised by how well designed and durable this backpack is after trying a more aesthetic and highly-marketed competitors insert that sorely let me down in functionality and quality. I use this backpack for almost everything cuz it just works so well!
This backpack is wonderful for its main raison d'être: carrying a camera in a bookbag. My Panasonic GX8 stays happily tucked into the bottom section under the configurable gray divider. What this backpack doesn't so well is carry much else than my 14 inch laptop, some pencils and pens carefully arranged in the interior side pockets, and I had to buy a new A5 size notebook for my math class so I could make it fit in there. I plan to try this bookbag out for a photo hike, so I think I'll be able to swap out the laptop and accoutrement for some cheese, jam, a very small charcuterie board, and maybe a small bottle of sparkling water. Just don't expect this bag to fit everything, all the time. It's just as picky as I (you?) are.
