Great Bag! But...

As title, it's a great bag! The 20L has been my EDC bag since I bought it in 2022 for my daily commute as well as my baby's diaper bag. I especially like the minimalist design that this bag has and the key loop that comes with the bag is just an icing on the cake.
Unlike the Everyday Backpack 30L which I think that it's too heavy even when it's empty, this bag is kinda "optimised" between the weight and the functionality of it.
The bag is made of high quality material, build quality is great and the best of all, the lifetime warrantee. PD exchanged 1 new bag for me due to the zipper mis-aligned after I used the bag for almost a year. And the process is just as smooth as when you are buying it from them.
On the other side, the shoulder strap, when the bag is not fully loaded, the thick shoulder strap pad is ok to help reduce the stress on your shoulder. But once it's fully loaded, due to the width of the shoulder strap, it's causing quite a bit of soreness to my shoulder. Not sure about the other and might be just me though.
Another thing is the side pocket, once the bag is fully loaded in the main compartment even a 500ml water bottle will be a really tight fit for the side pocket.
Overall it is still a great bag and my favourite bag of all time. Hope PD will continue to invent in great products like this and continue with the good work in their customer support. Cheers.

Sleek design!

I just bought this for a couple of trips coming up and I love how sleek the backpack looks on and that I can slide it forward on one strap to open up fully via the side zippers. It’s a game changer for airport use.

Bought this quite a while back and it has been my daily bag for commuting to work and overseas travels. I like that the bag is very well designed so I can attached a shoebag to it using straps whilst at the same time being able to assess my gear wtihin the bag. Really nice design.

Fantastic Customer Support!

I purchased in the SF store and received excellent guidance and hands-on help. Ultimately we discovered that the everyday backpack was not going to fulfill my equipment needs due to the fitting of my equipment and how I wanted access to it (the problem being me wanting to stow my PD tripod inside the pack vs outside and still have easy access to my gear when opening the side pocket). It just didn’t work out and feel right. So I returned the purchase. Would not hesitate to try PD bags again but ran out of time that day.

Perfect size (20) for my mountain hikes
on August 11, 2023

I'm tall and big chest and shoulders; I didn't want a full pack, but this 20. I have bear spray in outside pocket, a shaker bottle, inside I have 2 Yeti SS bottles, Nikon D850 with 50mm, Godox flash with diffuser, sundries, extra shirt. All easily accessible and not flopping around when crawling around on mountain side. However, I do have an issue with the sternum strap, in that the soft padded straps of the pack are not long enough for my torso and the lowest setting of the sternum strap hits my neck at times. If the soft strappy part of the strap were only 3 inches longer, it would be a perfect bag for the mountains, not too heavy, snug and nothing hanging off it to snag branches, rocks, etc on mountains. The sternum strap would sit lower on my chest if there were more areas to connect it to. On the plus side, this makes a perfect pillow when resting on the mountain top! I've used this bag on many hikes in the hills and mountains, and the strap length keeps coming back as my main issue. Getting water, camera, sundries is easy do with with the multiple zippers and (more importantly) handles to hold bag in different orientations while standing on a thin high trail.

One of my all time favorites and nearly awesome.

Bought the 15L awhile back and have used it on several trips now. Also an owner of multiple other PD bags.
Size for the plane is great, and bag gives me enough room for my legs since i’m on the taller side. Love the look, love the functionality of the zips (truly, it’s awesome). Great construction and it’s been very sturdy. The dividers are neat but take up a little too much room for me in the 15L, but definitely useful.
My only small complaints are: 1) the straps flap everywhere and could really use the magnets PD uses on other bags, and 2) i would prefer if the bag would slide over my carry on bag vertically instead of horizontally. Hope PD at least does the magnet straps in the future.
Either way, if you don’t have one, buy it.

This Backpack Did Not Disappoint!

I bought the 20 L backpack zip for a trip to Australia after seeing it on a Pack Hacker review on YouTube. It did not disappoint! I LOVE the look of it! (I bought the gray.) And I l LOVE the thoughtful design. I flew Delta Comfort, and it fit horizontally under the seat in front of me leaving me plenty of leg room. The side access was very convenient while flying, and the side carry handles made it very easy to pull it out from the seat in front of me and off of my suitcase when using the luggage pass-through. The top access pocket was perfect for my passport and wallet. It performed equally well in the city and in the rainforest. The FlexFold dividers kept everything nice and organized. I used the external carry straps to secure my jacket to the front. I also used one to secure a water bottle hanging on a carabiner from the top front loop. I have a large water bottle, and wish the side pockets had been a bit stretchier so I could have fit it in. I had the main compartment pretty full, so that may have been part of the problem. My husband it is a big guy and likes to carry backpacks low. He said the straps weren't quite long enough for his liking, but I'm sure they would be fine for most people. In between trips I plan to use the backpack to carry my mirrorless camera gear.
