Best Projector I Have Ever Owned

I have had about 7 projectors now and this one blows them all out of the water. I am pretty picky with quality, especially vivid colors, and this project delivers. I don't know why anybody would give less than 5 stars. The picture is sharp, amazing colors, auto focuses, built in apps for streaming, and best of all, it is whisper quiet. A lot of projectors have loud fans and distracts from the experience, but I have this projector about 2 feet from me when I use it and I cannot even hear it. The only gripe I can say is the Harmon Kardon sound. It disappoints. It works fine if you just want a quick movie setup, but the quality of the sound is not very good in my honest opinion, at least not what you would expect when you think of Harmon Kardon. Maybe it is because they didn't have much space left over inside for decent quality speakers. But I can easily overlook this slight flaw with how great everything else is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cortical and horizontal Keystone technology is not very sharp. The projector is unable to calibrate the correct angle. Adjusting it is incredibly challenging and frustrating due to it interface. If you hope to have BT transmit audio to a different speaker it won't work. The overall experience of the interface is also not very intuitive. Each menus navigate in a very awkward way. BT list of devices are represented at ID rather than names, the colors are unnecessary vibrant and fade out once trying to calibrate them manually.

This M2 projector looks better than my moms 4KTV! Its contrast is high and the smoothness in fast scenes are amazing!!! Its about the overall image not just pixels!!! Once you adjust colors and other options to adjust image it is an amazing image !!! I learned to turn off contrast on any device i connect the projector too! And just leave the projector contrast on!!! Also i manually adjust lens!!! And its soo portable, i take it everywhere !!!

I can't believe how far projectors have come. I read an article about the benefits of projector over TV and I have to say that I agree. Big picture in any room is such a difference from TV. Another is that the LED light in the projector makes it easier on the eye. All the blue light that we are exposed to all day sitting in front of a computer screen, or mobile is really hard on your eyes and coming home watching a projector screen is so much better. Also love that it connects to wifi and has a bunch of connectivity options. Can stream Netflix on 100+ inches.

Great Projector... but PERMANENT MOTION SMOOTHING RUINS IT

I love this little guy. So versatile, great quality image. But the M2 employs permanent frame interpolation that you CANNOT turn off. If you don't know what that means, basically it takes the image and digitally fills in the detail between frames rendering a disorienting hyper-sharpness to the image. It makes all your favorite movies look like cheap soap operas. Most TVs come with this, but you can turn it off in settings. The M2 does not allow you to turn it off. And it ruins every film you try to watch. I pray they add the ability to turn it off in future firmware updates. Please Viewsonic, hear my cry!
