Excellent Convection Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do a lot of baking and this is an excellent convection and digital oven.it is so versatile I can use it for baking and broiling or just reheating and also it can be used as an rotisserie.it is very easy to use with an Digital LED screen.just preheat with the right temperature which shows on the LED display.This oven is large enough to bake cakes with 2 pans at the same time and fast and even cooking and it is big enough to rotisserie an whole chicken and it has an drip pan and skewer for the chicken.it is very easy to clean with an slide out pan.this is the perfect oven to do all of my baking and I love it.

Nice size oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a week ago and it is really nice. This is a nice size oven and could easily cook a 5lb chicken. I've used it as a convection oven and it cut my cooking time from 1 and a half hours to just over 1 hour. It cleans up quickly and easily. I would definitely recommend this product.

Lots of Space Countertop Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This XL Digital Countertop Oven has a huge amount of space to bake with. 2 whole pizzas can fit into this oven. It has many different selections for baking and heats up quickly. I gave it a 4 star rating as I had and still am having difficulty trying to get the timer to work and the directions included are not helpful

Hamilton Beach XL Digital Countertop oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted an alternative to using my large oven. The countertop oven heats up more quickly than my oven and does not heat up the kitchen. I was pleasantly surprised that the outside of the Hamilton Beach oven did not get blistering hot on the outside or top of the oven. So far I have cooked mostly frozen items in this oven and they have come out perfect. I also like that the countertop oven is at my eye level and it is easier to watch the items when they get close to being done.
The 6 digital cooking functions, i.e., bake, broil, convection, rotisserie, reheat and keep warm are real winners for me. I have baked chicken tenders, frozen french fries, toast, toasted cheese(under the broiler), and french bread pizza so far.
I liked the convection oven for biscuits. I have plans for using the convection oven for all breads and desserts. I can make the bread in the bread machine and bake it in my Hamilton Beach counter top oven and not heat up the kitchen.
I can make 2 12" homemade or frozen pizzas at one time.
There are only two of us permanently at home now so the counter top oven is just perfect for us.

The oven comes with a pan to catch all the drips and run overs, an enameled bake pan, 2 cooking racks and a rotisserie skewer with a large lifting rack. The rotisserie revolves and can hold up to a 5 lb chicken or roast.
I really like the blue LCD screen which displays the cooking time, temp and whatever cooking function I selected, with 1600 watts of cooking power.
The digital buttons/bars with a plus and minus to select your function and a start and stop button/bar and the buzzer signals when the time is up work perfectly and I like them a lot.
I gave this a 3 for the design because the door does not have a hinge that catches when you open it. The door hit my counter top the first time I opened it to take out the chicken.
I now put a towel on the counter top area where the door will open so I don't break anything. I gave it a 3 for style as I think they could make this in more colours and because of the door design.
The crumb tray slides out easily. I covered this in aluminum foil when I cooked the meats and cheese items that might drip, for easier clean up.
I have had 3 Hamilton Beach toaststations and I think Hamilton Beach brand is the best in countertop ovens.
This larger size oven allows me to cook more and larger items than the toaststation and I am very happy with the digital functions and the size.
Overall, I am very happy with this countertop oven and the cooking functions.

However the instruction pamphlet is not easy to understand and the setting are not intuitive. Took a while to figure them out. It is a very nice appliance and I know I will get many years of use.

Amazing Countertop Oven is HUGE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was stunned by the size of this oven when I unboxed it; it's huge! It can actually rotisserie a whole chicken, which is perfect for our family, especially in the warmer weather. No heating up the entire kitchen, and overburdening the air conditioning! Anything after this is just icing on the cake, but it really does take the place of an oven. It will be a mainstay on our countertop, especially with its clean, elegant look, and user-friendly , ergonomically-correct dial, which is just another added feature. I really love this countertop oven from Hamilton Beach...they think of everything! If I could give it more than five stars, I would.
