Excellent bread!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made my first loaf yesterday and it was delicious!! Mixed well, rose perfectly, then baked. Great texture and made excellent toast!! Can't wait to make many more loaves!! I want to try different kinds of bread and this machine has many choices to choose. It is very attractive, too!

Lots of cycles; fruit/nut dispenser; looks sleek!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using various bread machines for nearly 25 years (including another Hamilton Beach model), and was curious to test the features of this machine. I baked a loaf of the Basic White Bread from the recipe in the manual, and a loaf of cinnamon-raisin bread from a recipe in my favorite bread machine cookbook. Both loaves rose to a good size and were well-liked by the entire family.
This bread machine includes several cycles I haven't previously seen on other bread machines I've owned (f.ex., a Gluten-Free cycle and a Cake cycle). The built-in fruit & nut dispenser did a decent job of dispersing raisins throughout the dough ball on the raisin bread (instead of allowing them to settle on the bottom of the loaf). The manual warns about vibration causing the machine to potentially "walk" off the counter; this was not a problem for me, though. (A rubber mat of some kind may help with that, but make sure it won't be harmed by the heat generated by the bread machine.) The one feature that took a bit of getting used to is that every setting requires 2 steps: first one presses the button for the setting one wishes to change, then one turns the knob to select the desired level of that setting.
The bread machine's sleek metal finish should look great in most kitchens. This is shallower front-to-back than my old bread machine, but taller and wider, so you'll want to make sure you can make space on your kitchen counter for this Hamilton Beach machine. If you love homemade baked goods, but don't have the time to knead or oven space to both bake bread and fix the rest of a meal, the Hamilton Beach Premium Bread Maker may be just what you need. Highly recommended!

Very easy to understand but detailed enough to assure a great loaf of bread. I baked my dad’s beloved bread with oatmeal and maple syrup. It was delicious. The crumb was great. My dad would be very proud! My kitchen smells great too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a sturdy, well-made machine with a brushed stainless steel finish that would look good in any kitchen.
It is very easy to use. So far, I have made white bread – delicious, and probably the best I've had from a bread machine (and I've owned several over the years)! And Cranberry Orange Pecan Sweet Bread – a breakfast treat. Both of these recipes came from the Hamilton-Beach book included with the machine. And pumpernickel – from my own recipe collection! Next on the to-bake list: French bread.
Excellent documentation! Listing the ingredients in the exact order that they should be added to the machine is really a plus for the novice cook who does not know certain things such as the effect of salt coming in contact with yeast at the wrong time. Good recipes – would like to see more of them. I would also like to suggest that flour measurements in your recipes be given in grams instead of milliliters – this would be a help for people like myself who measure dry ingredients like flour on a digital scale. Also, please suggest a water/liquid temperature range. Not everyone knows that yeast needs a certain liquid temperature to properly do its job.

A nice bread machine

The bread came out very good. I added all of the ingredients to the Bread Pan. Set the Crust Color setting to light. The Cycle setting to 3. Added the raisins to the Mix-in Dispenser and pressed the start button. 3 1/2 hours later the bread was done. I let it cool down for awhile and then sliced it. The texture was just right and it tasted great.
