Great addition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The OMEN by HP Photon wireless Mouse has been a great addition not only to my business but also gaming. It’s easy to install taking less then 5 minutes total. The wireless part is my favorite no wires in my way. It’s lightweight and easily glides on the pad.

Changing the game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Straight out of the box you know this mouse is a game changer! The mouse is heavy but handles easily and fits comfortably in my hand. You cant adjust the lenght but flanges on sides are removable. I like them left on myself as my thumb tends to drag. Mouse is also fully reversible, all parts can be switched to the other side to create a left-handed mouse.
This can be charged with any QI adapter. It comes with a USB adapter. The port is on the front. You can also get a Omen QI Mouse Pad if you want to put a bit more money into it. I think its well worth the extra to not have to worry about charging.
As far as performance I'm convinced this cant be beat! It works as fast as any wireless mouse I've used with no lag or delay at all. It paired easily right out of the box. There are 11 programmable buttons, some needing programmed before they are usable in gaming. The Omen Command Center makes programming very easy to do. Colors change as you adjust your DPI during use which I found very cool. Holds charge for up to 50 hours.

Lots to love about it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The OMEN Photon Wireless Mouse has a lot going for it. It's really comfortable to hold due to the shape & the addition of removable, smooth plastic side wings that your thumb and pinky finger can rest on, which prevents them from dragging along on the mouse pad. The buttons are all fully programmable, so you can set them however you like. One unusual bonus feature (which by its self makes it worth buying to me) is the removable / changeable side & inset center buttons. It allows you to custom tailor them to what is comfortable for you to use or remove them all together if you find them getting in your way . They attach with strong magnets, which don't move around when they're on and make it extremely easy and fast to take them on & off at will, if you should so choose. Another bonus, is that the LED lights in the mouse are also programmable and they look pretty cool. It comes with a USB A style charging cord, so (almost) any system can use it. I have an older (custom built) HP system that I use for gaming and it had no problem syncing right up to it. I should also mention, it holds its charge for a ridiculously long time. It claims 50 hours with its lights on (72 hours if you turn the lights on it off) but since I turn the mouse off when not in use, I've had it a few weeks now and it hasn't needed to be charged yet (not sure how many hours) so it may last even longer than that.
Now, as far as actual game play goes my only real complaint is the mouse's range. My gaming computer sits on a self, about 4' off the ground and where I sit & play, is on the floor about 5' feet back from it. I think it's mostly the angle of the mouse-to-dongle that perhaps causes the shelf to interrupt the signal while using it,but I did notice considerable problems with the mouse simply becoming completely & unpredictably unresponsive. This wasn't much of a problem when playing an "action-adventure" type of game, where quick-response timing is less important, however this was a big problem when playing online FPS games and it's a problem that I don't experience with the traditional mouse I used previously. When attempting to make sudden movements (such as to shoot the enemy) the mouse would lag so much I'd get killed.While I'm not sure you would have this problem if you don't have any obstruction between the dongle & the mouse, I can't attest to how far its straight-line-of-sight range is. Lastly,I wanted to mention, it all comes in an amazing, heavy-duty presentation-style box that has a rigid foam insert which hold all the accessories and prevents them from being lost. Overall, I do really like this mouse and I look forward to testing it out in a more optimal setting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mouse is amazing, I use it both for gaming and in the office. I work in a office that requires me to always be on a computer. I have used many different ones and I have never found a mouse that fits my had and doesn't make it hurt until I found this one. It is also great for both gaming and work becuase of the programmable buttons, it has a extremely long battery life, it has a quick response and moves smoothly across the screen. I will admit if you have smaller hands it might take some getting use to but over all I would recommend it to everyone.

Excellent mouse, but no drivers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely loved that the OMEN by HP Photon Wireless Mouse is customizable, my husband and I have different gaming styles and with the magnetic buttons and edges, switching things up is very easy. My only complaint is that I couldn't find drivers for the rgb light settings on HP's website.

The best mouse I’ve ever used

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a lifelong gamer but still kinda new to the whole mouse and keyboard thing. I have tried a few different mouses( mice?) but this is by far the best one I have tried. I love the fact that it’s wireless. It’s so much more convenient than a wired one. And with the charging pad, it can last for hours and hours of gaming without worrying about recharging or changing batteries like some I have tried. The customizable button configurations is a huge plus also. The response time is amazing also, can’t tell if it has any lag whatsoever. All in all it’s a very well made piece of gaming equipment that I hope to get lots of use from. Love it

Super cool led lights with tons of customizable color combinations make your mouse look awesome while playing! 7 clickable buttons including scroller. One of the best things is how long the battery in the mouse lasts, play all day with no worries! When you need to charge just plug in a USB! Comfortable and Smooth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a pretty casual gamer - I mostly play RPG's (The Witcher, Assassin's Creed and Undertale) with the exception of a few shooters like Destiny 2 and Wolfenstein and also a few puzzle games like Fez and the Witness. My review for this mouse (used in conjunction with the OMEN Outpost mousepad) is based off my experience playing Destiny 2 and Wolfenstein as those are mouse-heavy games. I'm incredibly impressed with this mouse. I didn't notice any lag and it performed just as well as a wired mouse. It moves smoothly, has a comfortable grip and I adjusted to it easily from my last mouse. The colors are definitely an added bonus especially since everything on a built PC has so many options for different LED's, it's nice to be able to match your whole set up to whatever you want. Definitely pleased with this upgrade!!
