Stylish but could be designed better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mouse pad feels great and comes with hard/soft surfaces. It also charges really fast. With that being said, the wireless charging only works in the area next to the colored logo which is outside of the mouse area. This design makes no sense because the point of wireless charging mouse pad is that you should be able to use and charge your mouse at the same time. In order to charge your mouse using this mouse pad you will need to place it in the charging area which essentially means you can’t use the mouse while it’s charging, which is a major disappointment to me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Charges almost anything that can be charged wirelessly... even charges my iPhone! Love HP products, never ever disappoint!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mousepad is amazing! It can charge any QI compatible devices such as your smart phone or wireless mouse which I found to be very convenient. You dont have to worry about your mouse losing charge while in use. If you purchace the Omen QI wireless mouse you can sync the 2 together easily. There are a large number of color combinations you can program into the mousepad which is really cool. The surface is reversible with one side being the cloth-like material you find with average mouse pads and the other being a hard, smooth surface. This allows for very quick mouse movements that is perfect for high action games. The overall look and design is very nice. I definitely reccommend this mousepad for anyone serious about their gaming.

Perfect pair with wireless mouse

The sleek design is second to none and I really enjoy pairing this product with the photon wireless mouse. The ability to wirelessly charge my mouse has saved me time and money on batteries, especially with my daily usage of the Photon. I am impressed with the thoughtfulness of HP to make one side of the pad soft and the other hard depending on my preference fir the day. I'm already looking forward to the next HP omen item I can get my hands on!

Charge your mouse while gaming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The OMEN Outpost mouse pad is great. It completely charges the OMEN wireless mouse in 2 and half hours - while you're playing - so that you never have to worry about charging up your mouse. It has a large (aprox 13.5" x 13.5") mouse pad which is hard on one side & soft on the other, which allows you to use whatever side you like. The charging area is located above the pad and never gets in the way of using the mouse. It has programmable LED lights, that match the mouse, and look really great. It has a USB 3 style cord & comes with an adapter for the USB A-style port, so you can use it with either. The mouse pad, its self, has a USB A port, so you can plug the mouse dongle into it while the pad is plugged into the computer, if you like. When the mouse pad isn't plugged in, you can us it like any other mouse pad, with your mouse dongle plugged into the computer.
I will note a few things here... Logically, if the mouse pad isn't plugged in, it can't charge the mouse. Also, if the mouse pad isn't plugged into the computer, you can't plug the dongle into the pad & expect it to work, obviously.
The mouse pad charging cord measures about 4 feet long and the adapter for the USB A adds about another 8" or so. I wanted to sit farther away than that from my computer, so I plugged the mouse dongle into the computer and plugged the mouse pad into a USB charging hub that was plugged into the wall and it worked excellent. PLEASE NOTE : Nowhere in the included instructions have I found anything that says it is ok to plug this mouse pad into anywhere but your computer, so it IS possible that it MIGHT hurt it to do so - I really can't say. I will tell you, so far it still functions properly, even after I did this.
Lastly, like the OMEN mouse, it comes in a really nice, heavy-duty presentation style box. All-in-all, I think this pad works great to charge your mouse while looking good, too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always wanted a mousepad with a charging adapter/port. I finally got one and I am so amazed. I didn’t know what I was missing out on. I have an iPhone XR and it changed it up, It comes with LED lighting to let you know it is powered on. Lightweight. It has interchangeable features. It can have a smooth or rough surface. You choose your preference.Not too too big nor too small surface area for the mouse. Very easy to clean too. Material looks like it going to last a long time. I would recommend this mouse not only for a gamer but any one who wants to use their mouse, pad and charge thier phones simultaneously.

I play alot of games on my pc and have never had a mouse pad like this til now and I'm very pleased and won't use another one ever again. If you play alot of games or you're on ur computer alot this is definitely the mouse pad for you. Its the best!
