Great potential, terrible execution.

These headphones have great potential but unfortunately after a short while the issues exceeded the benefits.
Audio quality is great, and battery life (when working) is excellent. The active noise cancelling/talk-through is also a great feature.
Unfortunately, there are numerous issues with the headphones. From the very start, the microphone was unusable - if using the headphones as a mic I would need to practically shout to be heard over the phone.
After around a month of ownership, the buds started having issues charging. By two months, they were unusable. The left bud will not charge at all, and the right bud needs several attempts to sit correctly in the charging port. The design of the charging mechanism is absolutely terrible.
I am currently in the process of working with JBL to find a solution as the buds are hopefully still under warranty, but I would not be interested in receiving the same headphones over again as a replacement.

These are just what I was looking for.. they are comfortable. Fit your ear snug and feel pretty durable.. they don’t have that cheap feeling. Sound it great. Cancels out noise and all around Sounds great

I find if I don't use the rubber horn seal and just the earbud part that they fit in my ear. I have small ears with a medium earbud and they fit well.

Comfortable with good sound

These earbuds have a great sound. They are comfortable enough to wear for long periods. Phone calls work well with no issues with the other caller hearing me. They are the first pair of earbuds that I've found that stay in place even when I'm running.

good sound, tough fit

These have great sound as you would expect from JBL, very happy with the sound quality. Good bass response but not overpowering. You have to have these inserted fully and tightly into your ear canal to hear them properly, for me they are very snug and I sometimes struggle to get them fitting properly. If you don't have them properly in there they sound about 50% loudness and no bass. However, once they are in your ear properly, they are very secure and sound great and block out 95% of the external noises around you. They are directed at the sports market and I see why, you can be very active and they won't fall out. I have not tried the microphone. The "talk through" button seems to not do much. It lowers the music volume to about 10% so you basically can't hear the music. If you're going to press a button to hear what's going on around you, you might as well just hit the other ear button that is pause. The build quality of the charge case and ear phones seem top notch. No problems with charging or battery life. I charge the case about once every 7 to 10 days.

Good until they stopped working

I enjoyed these earbuds until they stopped charging just over a year after purchasing them. Now they are completely useless.
