Some issues, but good so far

I bought this as a replacement for the E55 BT Quincy Edition, thinking that this would be a good upgrade. Unfortunately, it is not. The E55 BT was way more comfortable, and could also connect to two sources at the same time. 500BT is good, but it is not near as good as the E55 BT, which is disappointing. BTW, I dont see any use for the Google Assistant feature, and it is a major annoyance - every time I touch the pads, it blurts out "Google assistant is not connected".
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great acoustics

I bought these headphones to use with my cell phone to do virtual medical visits. I was concerned that the sound/microphone wouldn't be okay, but it is working great! The only complaints would be they are a bit tight on my head. If I had to wear them for a long period of time, it would make my ears hurt.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just bought these headphones and I'm very happy with them. Very easy to set up and great to hear the music and phone calls; nice microphone. Definitely a good buy. Well worth the money!

Firmware issues with jbl live 500bt

In the JBL MY HEADPHONES app download the firmware for verison 6.2.0 for the jbl live 500bt, however all my buttons stopped working, it can only be turned off and on, I would like to know how I can solve this problem or how to load another firmware again for the buttons to be reset and function. And since the buttons don't work, I can't do a factory reset

Robotic noises or distorted sounds every 30 mins

I bought the 500BT five months ago. I connect to my laptop via bluetooth to listen to music, and make calls. I noticed every 30 minutes or so, the sound would become distorted, almost robotic or slow-mo. I have to turn the headset on and off in order to fix this. I hear others having the same problem. It's so frustrating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're sorry to hear about what happened. here are some troubleshooting steps for us to check your JBL Tune 500BT:

1. Please try using a different music player and if you're using an equalizer, turn it off.



2. Try pairing the headphones to a different source ex. (phone,tablet) for us to check if the headphones will have sound using a different device.



If steps 1-2 didn't work, you can also reset the headphones:

Long Press of volume + and volume - at the same time while the unit is on. Make sure that Bluetooth is NOT on and connected to any device. When reseting, LED will blink faster.

Really prone to interference

I got these and I’ve used them with my phone and my laptop. I’m the office a foot or three away they’re horrible. Static and a lot of pops. Phone in the yard they’re flawless. Couldn’t tell ya.
