Beautiful sleek look for our kitchen

This hood was a wonderful addition to our new kitchen - the sleek design. It was the perfect addition for the hood. We love how the light and fan activate when it is pulled out. We've been using it 4 months and very pleased. ...I do agree with the other comment regarding reaching the controls if your short, I'm 5', but still very workable for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good for small kitchens

I bought this hood in 2014. It provides a sleek look to my small galley kitchen. When you slide the glass back under the counter the lights conveniently turn off, but I usually turn them off manually because I like the look better when the glass is extended. Also, the fan is powerful but not too noisy and the filter is easy to clean. Four stars not five b/c after 8 years of use the manual buttons are getting quirky -- it can take a few times of pressing them before they actually work. Bonus mini-review for the Kitchen Aid induction cooktop shown in the picture -- I love it.

Sleak, modern range hood with a few quirks

Just installed to day with an experienced buddy and took us 2.5 hours including removing old range hood, adding mounting boards to narrow hole width, and installing new hood; installation went smoothly and it operates as advertised; only quirk is that extended range hood blocks button access for short people; not a deal breaker but designer should have given button placement more thought.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dripping

This is more of a question: Grease is dripping from motor. The filter is see through with very little to catch grease (Large mesh). Is a filter missing other than the metal mesh. Had to clean dripping oil from motor cage? The unit is one year old.

Looks beautiful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't had it installed yet but I can't wait for my kitchen to be done in order to start using this vent hood. I've being eyeing it for years and so glad I was able to purchase it even though all the appliance stores said it was .a discontinued item
