We are reasonably satisfied with this refrigerator. It meets our needs at a reasonable price, and we are able to store a significant amount of food with relative ease, although sometimes it requires some maneuvering. The only issue we've bump up against (literally!) is sometimes hitting our heads on the freezer door when we lean down to get something out of the fridge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works/looks great but buzzes when cooling itself.

I really love this new fridge. My only issue with it is that it makes a buzzing noise when it turns on it's cooling mechanism. My old fridge was a Frigidaire that I bought in 1995 and it was still working when I got this new GE fridge for energy savings. The Frigidaire didn't make the buzzing noise. It's no big deal, I was just surprised to find that my 30 year old fridge was quieter than this new one.

GE Top Freezer Refridgerator

I really wanted a bottom freezer, but apparently those are no longer made in this size. The top freezer is limited in its capacity and I truly do not like having to bend so far down in the refrigerator to access things on the bottom. It does its job - keeps the food cold and fresh - and I am learning to live with it.
