Large, space efficient, large improvement on my previous fridge/freezer. Well architected in terms of rack spacing/height options and the drawers.

Great Refrigerator!

We bought this refrigerator to replace a 25 year old G.E. Freezer that needed a repair. We also had a 32 year old fridge in our garage we wanted to get rid of. We decided on this G.E. fridge based on good reviews and it would easily go down to our basement. It has met our expectations.

The top freezer do not have light. Also made loud noise during defrost and water is in the component. Also it deform every thing in the freezer, all my food and water is every way
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Your feedback regarding the lack of freezer light and the noise during defrost will be sent to our Refrigerator Design team for review. We do strive to meet the industry standard for sound level, but especially when the refrigerator is running something like defrost some sound is expected. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts, so we can make any needed improvements.
Regarding anything in the freezer becoming deformed, we really hate to hear that's been an issue for you. If this is happening due to excess moisture or condensation forming, you may want to make sure that the door is sealing completely and there is no kink or gap in the gasket that is preventing a seal. You should also make sure there is proper clearance to the air supply and vents, which will reduce frost build-up.
