This frig is small, not taking up space like my last one. I wish it had a freezer light. It's hard to see what's on the back of the shelves, have to bend WAAAAYYY down (difficult for seniors). It's a basic workhorse, those are my only complaints. Simple, no frills.

Very quiet, love the storage on the refrigerator door itself. Also, top shelf easily holds a gallon of milk upright!

Perfect size, design, and Energy Star

I am very happy with this model. I have a small kitchen and thought in the ideal roomier house I would want a larger model, but really this model is very adequate for our 2 person home. The freezer is roomy, and the glass shelves are easy to clean. Others have mentioned the noise level, but I find it runs quietly, and quieter than my last refrigerator. Quite satisfied!!

Simple Box for a No-frills Cool

We received this refrigerator, at reduced cost, as a participant in our community's "Trade-up" program - an effort to replace inefficient, older appliances with modern electric-saving devices.
This is a no-frills cooling box, with industrial-cube-style architecture.
So far my likes: quiet operating acoustics, bright interior light, solid sealing door gaskets, and even and consistent cooling/freezing throughout.
My research indicates that GE's entry-level fridges are industry leaders in reliability.
Time will tell.

I was restricted in size and this fits well in my limited space. Wish it had controls on the produce / fruit drawers as lettuce doesn't seem to last. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this purchase.
