Great Mid-Size Refrigerator for A Small Kitchen

I purchased this refrigerator to replace a 45-year-old refrigerator. My kitchen is small, and this unit is the perfect size and has sufficient capacity for a 2-person family. I looked at a number of 18 cu. ft. refrigerators, before choosing this model. It was the only refrigerator, which had glass shelves and the ability to install an icemaker. The deli drawer and the vegetable bins easily hold a 2-week supply of meat, cheese, vegetables, and fruit. The door has sufficient space for milk, juice, condiments, and small storage containers. The icemaker produces ice quickly, and the bin holds a large amount of ice. Even with the icemaker, the freezer still has plenty of space for frozen vegetables, meat, pizza, ice cream, orange juice concentrate, and fruit. The brushed, stainless-steel exterior is easy to maintain and matches my other stainless appliances. I would definitely recommend this refrigerator to a single individual or a small family, or to anyone who has a small kitchen. I would definitely purchase this refrigerator again.

We have had this fridge for a bit now and it keeps freezing all of our food on it's recommended setting. If we turn it down to 2 it lets the stuff in the freezer unthaw.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My previous refrigerator had the bottom freezer. But I like the top freezer better. It seems to hold more. And the bottom refrigerator for some reason I can organize it better. I had a Samsung but too many repairs. I know my GE will

Great refrigerator!

Our old refrigerator stopped working and we purchased this refrigerator to replace it as our extra refrigerator. Perfect size for our basement laundry room. It is very quiet running and has enough space and more to store all of the extra beverages and other overflow food and freezer items that do not fit in our kitchen refrigerator. We purchased a side by side refrigerator for our kitchen several years ago and have been happy with it therefore we didn't hesitate to purchase another GE refrigerator for our basement laundry room. Happy with the purchase.

I like the adjustable sliding drawer. Especially when I switched door hinge. I read a lot a review about these units being loud and was concerned. I guess it could be a touch louder than my old fridge. It’s fine by me. I can’t hear it outside the kitchen.
