Roomy freezer

I decided on G.E. as had G.E. before. I was able to purchase all 4 appliances in kitchen co-ordinated in color and style

How Cold is Your Fridge?

We had to use this as a temporary replacement until our new fridge arrives and discovered the recommended setting was
inadequate to keep temps between 35 and 38 (goal is 37). The setting, on a 1 to 5 dial, is at 4.5 where 3 is recommended. Get a digital thermometer for your next fridge. It is also noisy and the crisper drawers are cramped.

We like the fridge except for the handles. We are always hitting our heads because the freezer handle sticks so far out that we hit it takings things out of the fridge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I liked the outside appearance

I lliked the refrigerator for the price but I had to have the seals replaced ....not sellers fault. The refrigerator part had slices in the seal. They had to return because the refrigerator was not keeping a safe temp along with freezer area having frost build up around the door so this seal had to be replaced...the repairman was great and he added a special sealant and also ordered a new control panel just incase changing the seals did not solve the problem. So far so good and we have held off replacing the control panel.
Otherwise the fridge is a nice ref6for the money...no bells and whistles but I do like that it has glass shelves, note wire shelves

Great features!

So far I've really enjoyed it. I did hear the soft sound of water coming from it and it has no icemaker but one can be added, so the water faucet to the fridge was turned off.
I would recommend this to a friend!
