Great fridge but a little noisy for an apartment

The refrigerator does what it's supposed to. The noise when it's on the cooling cycle can be bothersome but it's not overwhelming.

easy to clean, has icemaker

It's so nice to have a refrigerator that is not made out of aluminum and is therefore easy to clean (no streaks). It's also nice to have an icemaker.

Freezer WAY TOO SMALL

Freezer area is way too small and is further impacted by the ice tray. The fact that the vents in the back cannot be blocked whatsoever, or the freezer will malfunction, makes this a poor purchase for more than ONE RESIDENT'S usage. Typically found in apartments.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had a 17 year-old version of this refrigerator, which is still working. When I decided to update some appliances, I purchased this in stainless steel, after looking at several competitors. I'm very happy with it and moved my old fridge to my garage for extra storage when I entertain. Very happy with GE products.
