lack of temperature control

The refrigerator does not have a temperature control that tells you if it is working properly.The shelves fog up when there is humidity present in the air'. I do not open freezer that often but you can tell the temperature is not consistent by the softness of the ice cream.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not as big as I thought it would be. Doesn’t cool as high as it should. Also fingerprints are very visible, I have to keep wiping the refrigerator down every time someone opens the door.

Very cost effective for the features it has. I made a mistake of not selecting ice maker, i would recommend that if you are purchasing this fridge

I would have given this a five because I like the features but two weeks after I bought it, it had to be repaired. Water was dripping from the water and ice dispenser. GE did fix the problem but I do believe this particular model has an issue with condensation and it should have been corrected before I bought it.

Replaced old GE refrigerator

Why check out anything else been happy GE appliance customer for years. As mentioned replacing old GE refrigerator with newer one better efficient than old one which lasted 37+ years.

NOt as Good as I expected

II don't like the fact that the door doesn't close automatically like my previous refrigerator did. One of the vegetable drawers make a terrible screeching sound when I either open or close it. This essentially the same refrigerator that I had previously but I don't feel the quality is the same.
