This particular fridge was delivered to me two days ago. I chose this model in stainless steel to replace an older GE fridge which is no longer in production.
First impressions:
- The design is nice for a top freezer fridge - the shape of the handle bars in particular adds to the sleek look. However, it wasn't clear despite the instructions in instruction manual, if the handle bars and door swings can be switched
- Fridge runs pretty quiet overall (at least for this price range) but a loud whirling noise is heard every hour or two, and lasts for 3-5 seconds
- Size seems a bit more narrow than the similar height GE fridge it replaced, for those with cabinets made to order to fit their fridge - measure carefully

Upon closer inspection, a few things to be aware of for those looking to purchase this fridge:
1) Finger prints definitely show up - though a mailer is included for a free sample of the recommended cleaner which is nice
2) Metal hinges are visible and have white spots/bumps, which may not be rust, but are certainly noticeable
3) The stainless steel scratches - so be careful if you are looking to keep your fridge clean and shiny
4) Other small details e.g., tape used to keep parts in place in freezer during shipping doesn't come off (leaves sticky patch, so be sure to try and remove before you plug in fridge), paper sticky lables on glass shelves also doesn't come off/leaves sticky backing which requires specialized cleaner to remove

The inside of the fridge was clearly packed with care, so the above probably just consists of using different tape or materials.
Three stars due to notes made above. For context/calibration, living in a city apartment with a small kitchen and where I eat out a lot, details like the visual appearance of the fridge, particularly a stainless steel one, will matter relatively more as a matter of first impressions. No doubt though the fridge in terms of cooling functionalities is reliable per the reputation of GE Appliances.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great size, lots of room

We bought this fridge for our basement, it's the perfect size and has lots of room inside with great adjustable shelves. It's quiet and the doors close with a nice tight seal. Very pleased with this fridge/freezer combo. We may purchase another one for the kitchen upstairs.

We had to replace our four year old refrigerator. Things happen that's life. I love the design we have way more space than before. I have more space in the freezer and the cabin.
