A little below my expectations.

Bought this knowing it is an average refrigerator. I didn’t expect any bells and whistles - and this fridge has none. However, I did expect it to be free from manufacturer defects and unfortunately the clear plastic coating on the front door of the fridge near the hinge and GE logo has noticeable bubbles under that layer. Also the fridge is very poorly lit, and is rather loud (as loud as the 40 year old fridge I was replacing.)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
