Adequate

While the fridge performs its basic function adequately, a couple of the features leave much to be desired. The placecement of the main compartment shelves is rather awkward, and the postion of the rails do not remedy the situation. Also, we find the lighting provided to be rather dim.

Nice but noisy

I had to get a GE certified technician to come out to check the vibrating noise in the freezer area of the new refrigerator. He found a bolt that was not screwed in the casing and with a turn of the bolt put it back in place. It was good for a few days and now is vibrating again. I know it is under warranty but this is annoying and noisy. Wakes me up in the middle of the night! Glad that I have a warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

quiet, functional, good size

Wish it had a light in the freezer and at the bottom as well as the top of the main food compartment. So much quieter than our six year old Haier. Glass shelf design allows excellent air circulation -- no frozen food in the main compartment (again unlike the prior Haier unit). Very happy.
