Great for our garage

We were looking for a black fridge to place in our garage for when we have people over in the backyard. This was an awesome fridge that looks nice, has plenty of room and is energy-efficient.

Stopped working after 9 days.

We have had this gts18hsnrss model for 9 days. It made a very loud sound at the crack of dawn. The back of the freezer was had a layer of frost. Then it made a hissing sound and water pooled around the fridge. My butter was at room temperature at this point, indicating that the fridge has stopped working several hours prior. I have had to go buy a cooler and lots of ice packs to salvage my groceries, all while troubleshooting and callinh GE.
Now, I may have to let a stranger into my home during Covid-19 to repair a brand new refridgerator. This is so incovenient, a hassle and not safe.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
