So far refrigerator is working but freezer unit so

I like the size and shelving is spacious. Have had this refrigerator for less than 24 hrs. and have noticed when you close the refrigerator door the freezer door opens from the pressure of the refrigerator door closing. May need to return.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GE Top Freezer Refrigerator

When researching a refrigerator to replace my older GE, which got hit and affected by an electric surge, I discovered that for my space and situation a GE would be the best. Compared to my previous GE refrigerator, I like that the new one has see-thru shelves and drawers and an extra door tray. Also, the shelves are highly adjustable. The outside is a smooth white, which is a lot easier to clean than the pebbly surface; inside the smooth, glass shelves are easier to clean than rippled shelves. However, I feel that the refrigerator portion needs two lights instead of one. Also, the manufacturer might need to balance the temperature better between the freezer and the refrigerator. If I set the dial high enough for the freezer to freeze food in the door trays solid, then it is too cold in the refrigerator for leafy greens; if I set it so it is good in the refrigerator, then food in the freezer door is soft enough to squeeze. Nevertheless, I haven't noticed that anything spoiled as a result of this temperature difference, in the few months that I have had this. Overall, I like this refrigerator.

Its quiet and cools efficiently. The refrigerator is roomy but it could use another shelf. Its hard to utilize all the space with the shelves provided.

Had the refrigerator for 4 days. so far so good. Like the led lighting. Runs quiet enough for the price range. I don't like the fact that there is only a single temperature control. But, I suppose I can live with that quite easily. I'm guessing that because this refrigerator is in the lower price range, that reason for the single temp control.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Too new to determine quality. Only 2 shelves in fridge....not very flexable for storage. Good lighting. Good for a single person but too small for a family.
