Freezer gasket malfunction.

This refrigerator is great. Except for a flaw in the upper freezer gasket. A gasket should always be flush with the mating surface, this refrigerator has two small plastic trim pieces that interfere with the seal I had ice building up in the upper left and right corners of the inside freezer compartment. I removed both plastic trim pieces and added a small piece of black gorilla duct tape, to cover the the metal 45 degree angle joint. I worked perfectly, no more ice buildup.

Great GE Top Freezer Refrigerator

I am very happy with my GE refrigerator! It keeps food cool and frozen well at an affordable energy cost. I like the sleek stainless steel exterior and the shelving interior design. I am glad that I purchased the GE top freezer refrigerator for my kitchen.

I just received my new frig today. It’s so pretty. Very roomy. It’s already getting cold enough for my food. I feel that I will love this and become a GE buyer for future purchases.

I moved from student dorms to an apartment with a real fridge, and I’ve been loving it. You can hold so much more than my old fridge and there’s so many more shelves. I love the little one at the bottom that’s just large enough to hold some drinks.
