The fridge footprint size is good, my recycle bins next to it don't stick out as far as with my old fridge. Adequate storage. But this thang is LOUD! I could never hear my old fridge in my bedroom before but sure can now. The door handle is a bit wiggly, don't like that. The butter door sometimes flies open and throws the butter out without closing the door all that hard. Would have gotten 5 stars but the noise is so bad it gets knocked down to a 3. Oh well, it's mine now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like the GE refrigerator so far, but I absolutely hate the way the shrink wrap comes off the refrigerator. You can not get it all off and it looks rediculas with little pieces of plastic sticking out all over the place

Too noisy!

The noise, when the refrigerator is defrosting, ( I’m guessing it’s defrosting) sounds like an engine of a lawn mower; so loud that I have to turn the sound level of my kitchen TV louder because the refrigerator drowns out the audio of the TV.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
