Perfect for a very unique situation

I'm thrilled that GE still offers basic, no nonsense refrigerators. I live in a concrete block homestead house built in the desert in 1949. There is no ice cube maker water line available. This refrigerator is reasonably energy efficient, and will likely last for many years to come. It is narrow enough in one dimension that it could fit through the very narrow door into the kitchen if the door is removed. In short, it is the perfect solution for a unique situation!

A Refrigerator That Runs and Looks Well!

I've very happy with the operation and the look of this product. Contrary to many reviews, I do not find that it runs loudly. It is quieter than my old refrigerator. It does not run all the time either. I am very happy with the "no fingerprint" finish and the larger interior in the same exterior space than my old model. Plus it has attractive handles instead of flush plastic pulls. I highly recommend it!
